JP’s Catering is owned and operated by Chef Paul Curtis; a U.S. Army Retired Veteran, who is finally pursuing his love of cooking which for most of his life was a passion but not a career. Chef Paul Curtis earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree at Lincoln Culinary Institute and plans to further his culinary education. He is ServSafe Certified.
The idea for JP’s Catering to serve Caribbean and Latin American cuisine came from his wife Jennifer Garcia, a former marketing entrepreneur of Cuban-descent, who had a longing for a taste of home-cooked Cuban meals and Paul’s passion for cooking Cuban recipes.
They saw a need in the marketplace in Maryland for not only authentic Cuban food but also for other Caribbean and Latin American cuisine.
